COMMENT POLICY

First of all, I love and appreciate every comment left here. As you, the readers, take your time to read and give your feedback on every post which is lovely. And, every comment is well appreciated. One of the main purposes of encouraging comments is to promote a sense of community. Therefore, despite this comment policy, I do not restrict comments; or your right to freely share your opinions, and suggestions.

However, I also want every comment to be useful and helpful to every reader. And, I’ve noticed some comments that won’t be accepted. While I accept 99% of comments, I may also delete comments that violate these policies:

Violence: No reader is allowed to threaten other people on this blog as everyone’s entitled to their own opinion; or, post violent comments aimed at me, or my posts. For example, don’t post death threats against another person, or comments encouraging other readers to take violent actions against each other.

Harassment/Bully: While the sharing of different ideas, opinions and suggestions are encouraged, all comments need to be respectful towards me, the readers, and those leaving comments. Do not harass or bully anyone, including me. Or any harassed comment aimed at my post. Anyone using the comment section to harass or bully will have that comment deleted. Online harassment is also illegal in many places and can have serious offline consequences.

Copyright: Do not provide links to sites where the readers can obtain unauthorized downloads of other people’s content.

Promotional comments: If a comment is solely promotional in nature; that is, promoting a site, a product, an advertisement, etc, it will deleted as it’ll be considered as spam.

Spam: Spam takes several forms; all of which can result to the removal of your comment. Some examples include posting comments designed to drive traffic to your site, posting comments just to promote your site or product, and posting links to existing content from other sources for the primary purpose of generating revenue or other personal gains.

While all comments are set to be approved, I can and will prohibit vulgar language, rude comments, personal attacks, derogatory remarks, and so on, from my blog comments. I don’t place any ban on disagreements or contradictory views/opinions as almost all comments are accepted.

Also, non-bloggers can comment on posts using their email address, as well as their fb and Twitter account. You just have to fill in your name and email address or username depending on the  method you choose in the comment section. But, if you also violate these policies, the comment will be deleted and your ability to comment will be revoked.

As the owner of this blog, I reserve the right to delete any comment that violates the aforementioned policies. This comment policy is subject to change at any time. If you have any questions regarding any of these policies; as a way to create a clear understanding, please let me know via email: contact@okotoenigmasblog.com. Or through the information in my Contact page. Please follow these rules to avoid the removal of your comment .
